Not banned because that goes against the first amendment, but I do think parents should be informed that it does present things in a very one sided and closed-minded way.

I am sure you are speaking in jest to mock the type of censorship preaching that comes from neocon pundits, especially of the religious right variety like Jerry Falwell, who asked that people stop watching the Teletubbies a few years ago due to the supposed homosexual overtones exemplified by one of its characters.

I find it humorous when you mock them, but be careful. Judging by the responses on this forum, most neocons won’t get your subtle sarcasm. You have to admit that after speaking and involving yourself in written exchanges with many conservatives, especially of the religious variety, many things we take for granted, like metaphor and hyperbole, are lost on them. They are simple-minded literalists that take everything at face value, no matter how preposterous the comments are.

Then you would have to ban Captain Planet, most of the the sitcoms on TV today, and virtually every one of those stupid talk shows like Oprah.

Your Fairness Doctrine attitude must be implemented fairly across the board and not just on those things you don't like. After all, aren't you libs supposed to be the party of fairness?

You and your party are hypocrites.

Nicole J - I don't know what isolated hillbilly town you come from, but in written language, people like it when you use commas and periods.

Are you going to ban every show on every station then because they all put forth a bias whether it's liberal or conservative.

Classic liberalism. If something sounds so much as remotely conservative, it should be immediately banned because it's mean-spirited, evil and wrong.

If you guys could only hear yourselves....

Veggie Tales are great! But, in your world of silencing everyone you see as a threat to your agenda . . . I suppose silencing the poor little vegetables with morals is perfectly acceptable.
