i would like to know the monthly rent of council properties around england, is there a list of average price per area. and the price difference between flats/houses etc. Thanks

Most Councils now have a website and on it they detail housing where I live you have to be on the Waiting list for a house to see the details and therefore the rent.
If you are hoping to get a Council place you better put yourself on a list somewhere and don't expect to get one for a long long time. There are many people waiting and there is no housing stock to give them, because of various reasons such as immigrants. And on that note I will stop!

if u r looking for county estates, it wouldn't be costlier than in the city proper.
