Well, the educational requirement for a "sales consultant" is, (drumroll), "Must have a minimum High School Diploma." One thing they reiterate in their staff requirements is "entrepreneurial self-starter who is motivated to succeed," "Drive sales by bringing in new business and new accounts through networking, cold calls," and "A dynamic individual."

It still comes down to being a sales organization--Get more bodies with money in.

In that wonderful, but very dated, Wall Street Movie, Charley Sheen's character is talking to his onscreen and real life father (played by Martin Sheen). The father calls him a salesman. The youngster corrects, "stock analyst". The elder asks, "You still call strangers and ask for money" and concludes, "Then you are a salesman." The brokerage business is sometimes to make people money, but usually to make money by selling people on using their "services" to buy things that make brokers money.

I wish you luck. But I'm not buying.
