Gore's assertion that temperatures are rising is not only true but much worse than Al and other environmentalists think.

We see charts of world average temperatures for only the last several hundred, thousand or millions of years.

But when we look at average world temperatures for the last half billion years, we find that the earth likes 22C we are currently at 12C ( much colder) The world likes it much hotter.

Only two times other than the current time was the world average temp as low as it is now. 250M years ago and 100M years ago both times the cooler temp lasted for less than 25M years.

We are in for a temperature rise of 10C. That will end human civilisation. But how fast that will happen over the next 1000 years is any ones guess. Remember the whole of human written history is only 6,000 years. A drop in the bucket.

I think he is an intelligent, concerned American who can open some eyes and ears that would otherwise remain unopened.
I also think his chance at being president was SHAFTED by the lame person who cannot get us out of a fake war that he initiated for the purpose of obtaining OIL. Just imagine what we could be right now if Al Gore had been able to achieve the presidency.

The earth is ordinarily much warmer than it is now. I look at the pyramids in Egypt and wonder what was there to support all those people that lived there 3,000 years ago. It's all sand now. But it was a cooler land then, with a climate that could easily support crops, and had adequate rain fall. Going back much further, there are fossils in Antarctica of ferns and palms - now that's warm.

He's an attention whore who is still upset about losing the election. He's only doing this for attention. I'm going to laugh my butt off when the world finally realizes what a farce he's been spreading about global warming. If you disagree with that, would someone please explain to me why the ice samples he mentions in his film prove that the warming trend came before the rise in CO2, instead of the other way around like he wants you to believe?
