The answer is people.
Most people have little self-control and are unable to control their impulses when it comes to things they enjoy doing. Weed never shot someone during an argument. Alcohol never smashed into a day care center while driving drunk. If more people had self-control and didn't self-medicate because of their sadness, depression, or disgust with themselves, alcohol and weed would be harmless pasttimes enjoyed by responsible adults.

It is difficult to say for sure, because thousands are imprisoned each year due to weed. The sale of illegal drugs such as weed also encourages violent acts and gang activity. The primary reason is because if you're selling weed, then I know that I can break into your house and steal the money you've earned, and you can't file a police report.
However, due to the many drunk driving accidents, unwanted pregnancies and families torn apart due to alcoholism, my personal opinion is alcohol.

Both are just as bad people who smoke weed get personality disorders such as paranoia, plus weed is more carcinogenic than cigarettes. Alcohol has a host of problems for many people who consume to much. The active substance in weed, THC, should be sold in pill form by prescription only for pain. And alcohol sales to individuals should be limited.

I definitely would say alcohol. I have known many "smokers" in my life and none of them ever got violent or harmed anyone but themselves when they were high. Alcoholics are a whole other category. I have seen violent dangerous drunks and I have also seen drunks that act out sexually. In all of my observations and personal trials I would say alcohol is much more damaging. I of course am not a doctor of scientist so I don't know which causes greater damage to the body. I would still venture to say it would be alcohol.

#1 ...The people that drink the Alcohol and abuse their responsibilities by drinking to the excess. Because alcohol reacts differently in our bodies and minds and turns some people so horribily mean, they have no control over their destructive actions. Weed doesn't seem to make people horribly mean, it does however deaden the thinking process, and mind control as does the alcohol.
Drunk Driving......alcohol.........
Driving under the influence......Drugs

they come up with the most craziest things. That harms eveyone. Think of how weed became something that people now smoke,through people. Alchol is only drinken cause of some idiot.

I don't think that anything you listed has anything to do with our hurting society. The reasons for the use of drugs and alcohol are the real problem. Loneliness and an inability to socialize.

weed - it's the gateway drug that opens the door to many other stronger drugs. But then again I would say people. It basically depends on who you are- because I smoked weed for years and am a professional business woman - still drinking every weekend.
