does anybody else hate how slow he walks and how hard it is to aim and shoot? also u cant walk with a knife out so when u try to stab something and walk at the same time, it moves your camera.

RE4's controls are 100 times better than the old RE games. I found it quite easy to aim, shoot, use the knife, etc. Since you've never played the older RE games, give one of them a rent. Trust me, you'll think RE4 is the easiest game to control you've ever seen after the old RE games!

It's just you. I think the controls are intuitive and good. In the GameCube version, if you hold down B + Control Stick Up you can run. I didn't know that until halfway through the game! But you are right about how you can't walk with the knife out. That's a drawback.

I think there fine and keep to the style of Resident Evil as much as possible and besides it could have been a lot worse

i thought they were ALOT better than what they were before. I like being able to aim at what im shooting instead of the whole third person thing. i love it.
