Shope rate is about $100/hr. I will provide the engine. Any guesses or real experience?

Also depends on what kind of motorcycle we're talking about here... It's much quicker to swap out an engine on a little dirt bike than it is on a full-faired touring bike. It takes a good 1 1/2 hours just to remove all the tupperware (plastic fairings) from my BMW K1200LT.

This is going to vary depending on the bike and the shop mechanics.

A shop experienced in your bike model will be faster.

And some bikes are lots easier to do than others.

It took me and my son approximately 7 hours to swap a Kawasaki Ninja 250 engine. We did not hurry in the least though --- and messed around some while doing it.

And it took around 9 hours for me, my son and my girlfriend to swap a Honda Interceptor VF500 engine. Again, no hurry involved.

You might think about doing the swap yourself. A service manual for your bike will give the proper procedure and what tools you will need. Most engines can be lifted fairly easily with two people. And the labour involved, while tedious, is not overly complicated.
