No, because alot of times people know thats not who you really are.Plus look at my avitar its FREAKIN UGLY, but I have over a 56% best answer rate.

maybe in the real world
I truly like to think that gender for the most part is not a consideration here with exception of some issue that that are gender related
however the sexxy female idea would be an eye catcher try it and ad saving acct balance to profile it may work

I don't think that has anything to do with it. Most people that I see that get best answers have avatars, not pictures. They usually get best answer because they speak from the heart and/or from experience. You can't put a face on good advice. Good advice is just good advice, no matter how the pic looks like.

I don’t think it has out to do with what gender you are or portray yourself to be. I think it’s more to do with if you actually give a good answer. Lol sorry for stating the obvious but when I ask a question I really couldn’t care less what the avatar looks like if it’s the best answer in my opinion they get the ten points.

Of course not...but having logical honest and helpful answers helps. Remember, the people on here aren't idiots. And we are of all ages, colors, and spiritial backgrounds, Moms, Dads, Educators, Nurses, etc, etc & etc.

if you answered a pertinent and intelligent question correctly with a good informative based answer then you may receive a best answer award. the picture shouldn't have anything to do with it.

it depends on the person but i think if your answer is knowledgeable and a sensible answer they should pick you.. but it all depends if the person asking the question is sad enough to pick them just because of that lol
