Im listening to song without lyric now... piano pieces. really awesome.
have to agree, no lyric, harder to sing along. hehe

For me, it's not whether I prefer lyrics or not, it's whether or not I want to sing to the songs with lyrics. When I want to get pumped I sing along but when I want to tune out the world, I just sit and listen.

I opt for lyrics however in so much songs I concentrate to I concentrate to the song, I wouldnt be equipped to inform you what the lyrics are to a tune. There are a few songs with out lyrics that you'll be able to certainly not cross beyond although when you consider that they're powerful (:

I listen to songs without lyrics when i'm playing games, but when I'm relaxing I listen to lyrics

But my favorite song without lyrics is called Reverie by Debussy...I think:P
It's the best classic piano piece I've ever heard...It makes me cry....I know I'm weird.

I like songs with lyrics, because the music will catch me but the lyrics will keep me :-)

it all depends on the music's rhythm! There are songs that I want them without lyrics, and there are the ones that I want them with lyrics! For example, most of time, i want vibrant music, like rock-punk/metal, without lyrics and slow songs, speacially slow rock, def with lyrics!

I am not a big fan of instrumentals...although the old song Sleep Walk by Santo and Johnny is an exception.
