to lie on here and say you're having a baby (usually twins or triplets) when you're actually not pregnant? I see it happen all the time on this site and it bugs the hell out of me. But, I was thinking - maybe it doesn't bother anyone else?

So is it ok to lie and make this up? Are they "not hurting anyone" and that makes it okay? Is it just me that this annoys?

Sometimes it's just obvious by what they say. Then I'll sometimes look back at their previous posts and see that, for example, thought they are six months pregnant with twins now, they were asking 3 months ago what it felt like to have sex. Or suddenly they're 5 months pregnant when a week ago they were 6 weeks pregnant, etc.

Well unless you are there how can you figure that they are not lying, and maybe they are just curious.

It is a lie dosn't matter what color you paint it, but some people wake up lying its second nature to many sorrowfully, it is habit forming because we are creatures of habit.

Try and not let these little things annoy you, there are so many things in this world that are wrong and harmful, like another said before me it is annoying when you want to answer here to help someone and when they lie you could have been helping someone else but you still got 2 points for answering.

Well, its lying. Not a habit anyone should get into. I guess with the anonymity that comes with the internet, people think its ok. But its creating a habit, and I think lying isnt good. So why dont people just say: Hey I thought of these cool names if I ever have twins or triplets, etc. ? Beats me.

I dont really care, They could just simple ask things like what would you name your triplets or I like these names how about you? But w.e beats your boredom.

Im not prego never pretended to be, I always just ask if you do or dont like the names, I'll even add that Im not prego and ppl will still say congrats and Im like for what tryin to find other names that I might like before I get prego. I am married, my hub wants kids but hes away cuz of his job right now. I just love names and want to find the perfect names for my kids.

I don't like it, it kinda makes me feel lyk a lot of things.
Firstly i feel annoyed, there's people on here that it could hurt.
Secondly I feel confused, why would they say it if they weren't actually pregnant?
Thirdly I feel sorry for them, they're not going through what lots of us in this conversation are going through.

But it does get me thinking, why do they need to do it? Is it because they have nothing better to do, or is because they want one, or is it deeper??

Its OK that you feel that way....
What about the guys who pretend they're women on this site?
I think its so obvious that they're bullsh*tting about
their men troubles.
Hey, I wonder if some of them are prego too?

Who cares? They are not hurting you or anyone else. Picking names for your future children is fun. Why rain on someone else's parade?

People shouldn't lie, no. But I think everyone is welcome to baby names even if they're not pregnant.
