I like the way you stated you question "when WAS the best time......." Because it is funny that we do not realize the best time of our lives until it is already gone, done and over.
Sigh. Sad. Mine was when I was 16 years old. Ya, that was a good year.

When i was a baby and i didn't have much sense of the world, why ?? Cause ever since i was a little kid i felt alone, now am 12 and i feel 50 times worse. My mom and don't talk no more and my dad i barely talk cause deres nothing ttalk about. I am so inlove and i know he loves me back but i wont let myself be wid him cause everytime i let someone in my life i just get hurt. Ok and happy for a new day cause it just one day closer to death, so all dis pain can stop. Am only 12 and am going through this much. I no my mom is trying but she doesn't understand my pain. I loved someone in the past and in the end he literally ripped out my heart. I may smile but that smie only hides the pain and feeling of lose. Ok.
My life is practically ending as each day goes by. I see no light at the end of the tunnel any more. I can't find my way because i have none. I can't find one purposeto live so basically its meaning less excistance. I no i need helpbut no one can help, nobody cares enough to take a second look. So basically am just lost.

The age I am living. Life is a journey and is to be enjoyed every step of the way. The happiness and the goodness we achieve along that journey is the only thing we both take with us and leave behind when we step through the door that ends this life and start a new journey into the next world.
I loved going to school and the military was wonderful. Working in the oil fields was a great time, as was running my own business. Now I am retired and tomorrow I take my beautiful bride of many years and we will start a road trip of America and we intend to stop and read every one of the Historical markers we pass.
LIFE IS GRAND MAKE LOTS OF MEMORIES.

That position or state of mind implies and assumes that the good times are done and over... which is a very self-defeating place to be. Nothing reflects the essence of life more than the joy of looking forward, the expectation, the anticipation of the GOOD that is to come....
What's the purpose of waking up in the morning if your mind is made up that you've already lived the "good times" and you're not looking forward or expecting any more of it...?
Although I have memories of great times throughout my life, my "best times" are definitely not in the past... that's a statement I don't believe in and that I WILL NEVER make...
Furthermore, if you think about it you'll realize that your choices took you to where you are today...some people have a very hard time with that statement because they believe they are the victims of "circumstances...".
Life is self-prophetic... That which you do not believe possible will NOT manifest in your life. Hopefully one day you'll look back and realize that somehow, you've always been right...

My first decade was as close to Heaven as I have ever been on Earth. I was surrounded by wonders and family, naturally able to discover my world from the banks of the river to the woods in the dark. I had a "Nanny' dog to watch out for me and enough family to see that I was provided for. My mother taught me to go to Sunday school even if it meant walking two miles in the rain with my two brothers and five sisters. That all ended the following year and its been Hell ever since! I know the truth and I am free.

any age can be the best time bcoz ur the one controlling it. if u want u can make ur whole life the best time. ppl usually say their college or school days r the best time. thts bcoz all they do is enjoy n hv fun. thts not all there is to life. even im in college n im 16 but in india at this age there is no question of enjoying coz this is the time when we hv to work hard or else our life comes down to nothing. so its not like im blaming bcoz i hv t study, i am enjoying bcoz thre is so much of competition n u hv to compete with around 10 lakh students just to be ont he top. so...im enjoying this.
well, what it comes down to is tht, its upto u to make the best time.

Right now.
It started a year ago, when I learned to love myself.
Everyday has been wonderful since then.
I live as much of my life in the present moment, and LOVE it.

Since I love maturity, I am happy as I am now, at 51. I was foolish in my younger days to think what I used to think then, I was foolish to be drawn to Comunism when I completed my teens, I was foolish to abandon tradition in my younger days, and later I realise that how foolish I used to me. I became happy only after I crossed forty five!
