Start Griese. He's playing against the 30th-ranked passing defense in the NFL (Vikings). Brees is struggling this year. Don't go with him until he proves himself.

Brees may be the better QB I grant you, but the talent around him isn't producing and neither is he. They have lost that mojo that made them special last year, and they go up against a very consistant Seatle team this week. I'm not saying to go and drop Brees from your roster, he WILL improve over time, but for now, start Griese against a very unbalanced MIN Def (one of the best at stopping the run, and one of the worst at stopping the pass). This means the already unimpressive running attack in CHI will be even less inspiring, and the Bears will have to go to the air. Griese may throw a couple picks, but he is also likely to throw between 35-50 attempts, so you know he will produce fantasy numbers.
Good Luck.

Griese is the better pick. Simply because his stats are going to be a bonus since he was never considered as a "starter" in the beginning of the season. Also, minus the first game back, He has more points in the first two games than GROSSman had in all four combined. Griese is the way to go

Your 100% right Griese has the better matchup because Minnesota's cb's are garbage, but Seattle is no good either and Drew Brees is do for a big game plus, With Marques Colston, Devery Henderson, and Eric Johnson catchin passes the Saints have more weapons. I went with Brees on my team.....

My gut says Brees and my head says Griese. My 11 year old daughter says Brees and they are usually right - somehow.

Start both of them. Griese is playing pretty well, and it's not Brees's Fault New Orleans is loosing this year. That whole team just fell apart.

Brees is going to have a breakout game. Griese is going to be without Berrian most likley.

Brees. It's not about "if", it's about "when" he will turn things around. I'm not saying that he will save the 'Aints, but his numbers will rebound.
I put it this way, this week I will bench Romo against the Pats to start Brees.

Brees because of the fact he's racking up the factors. Campbell is a clown. 0.5 interior the pink zone against the Rams and then looses to the Lions. Tampa will supply Washington a puzzling time.
