ODI means One Day International.It is a format of cricket like Tests and twenty-20s.

ODI = One Day International, as it is 50 overs for each team that basically takes a day to complete
Test = Test match that lasts 5 days, not sure why they call it a test other than it is a Test of application in playing a game over such a long period.

ODI stands for one day international.It has limited overs and it could be a 50 over match or a 20/20 match.You can get Foxtel and watch live cricket but you have to wait for it too be on.Also 5th ODI means that its the 5th one day international between to teams that play the 5th game between them.Test means limited overs so the captain can choose when to declare to say they have scored enough runs of that innings.But in one day international you cannot declare.

FULL form of it's is one day international usually named for 50-50 over matches . 1st match of any particular series would be called the 1st ODI , like wise it continues . test matches are the matches in which each match played between two teams continues for 5 days. i know friend you are the new cricket fan . i also used to ask the same questions to the people when i first got interested into it. all the best ! buddy.
