Even though I am a hard core Democrat I would not vote for Gore for these reasons:
1. He would have to end focus on global warming and discuss other issues as well.
2. I would rather the world be saved from future global warming threats than for America to be saved from the Iraq War. Note: I say this, thinking on a long-team perspective
Saving the World is a long term perspective whereas getting out of Iraq is a short term perspective.
What good is it gonna be to get us out of Iraq if there will still be future global warming crises that maybe so great that nothing can prevent them regardless of what we do.
Lastly,
3. I will note vote for Gore because he is already a formidable foe for the GOP now from where he stands, now that he has won the Nobel Peace Prize. I don't think he will give up that status of power so quickly.

I would vote Gore in a heartbeat. In fact, I would move to Iowa, NH, or SC to get his campaign going.
1. He has EXECUTIVE experience like no other. The Senate is not good experience for the Executive branch.
2. He's been vetted. They can't come out with any dirt on him. I can't say this about candidates who were stock traders, like Obama, and others. Everything they said about him in 2000 was proven false. He's clean.
3. He would fire up Florida. It's proven he won in 2000.
4. He understands the issues. Environmental security is National and Global Security.
5. People know America would be better off if the Supreme Court didn't stop the recount.
I really hope Gore runs. I don't want a Senator who votes can be twisted like they did to Kerry.

The issue of Global Warming and/or Climate Change is a moral argument based upon scientific fact and not the sort being presented by Al Gore, which seems entirely political.
Al Gore is more interested in stifling debate than encouraging it.
Here in UK [the lunatic fringe] educators are already talking of making children as young as five [5] sit down and watch the Al Gore video about Global Warming.
Like I say, this is a political issue and unless there is an opposing argument which the children will also watch, then I think this is just brain-washing.
Make ready for the New World [Commie] Order Comrades, because that's where we're headed.
NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
Did you know that Gorge Orwell's real surname was BLAIR. Makes you think! Tony Blair has put more control into UK than any previous Prime minister. Here in UK there are now an estimated 2-million CCTV cams, or what us Cockneys call, SPYCAMS.
And NO - I would not vote for Al Gore if I were an American.
I should emphasise that any choice is for the American people to make and not for me. My opinion of Al Gore is that he is simply yesterday's man and the American people would do themselves a power of good to break completely with the past and try something new.
Not sure what, but there must be a different way of doing things without destroying the economy and causing people to be left with monster negative equity hanging around their necks like huge wet millstones.

I don't know for sure. What I do know, from reading all of the other responses is that it is no wonder that our nation is in the state it is in and our worldwide reputation is in such a sad state. With all of the hateful and negativity expressed just in these few responses; it is easy to see what a state our country is in and why.
I have liked Gore in the past, but I would have to hear more from him before I would commit to voting for him for sure. I do think that he has promise and perhaps has some of the moral fortitude to clean things up a bit and try diplomacy as a tactic for world affairs for a change.
I think that there is not a lot of hope for a lot of change with any candidate until we, as a whole, decide to remember the rules of the playground and kindergarten; things I am teaching my little one now.
If someone does something to you, don't hit. Try to talk it out first, then ask for help from an adult if you need it. Don't take things that aren't yours. Don't lie. Help those in need. And, one we are working on now...keep your nose out of other people's business until you get your stuff straightened out first.
I think any candidate would have a hard time if they couldn't keep these basic survival guides in mind. It is hard to bring peace and prosperity to a people that can't even say nice things in cyberspace...just a thought, people...would you have the same attitude if your/someone close to yourself children were watching you?...
I try to remind myself when I feel like falling into the same type of pitfall; do I want to be part of the perpetual problem, or at least attempt to be part of the solution; and if I can't do that, at least I don't have to add to the problem.
I know a lot of you probably are seething at reading this. I mean no disrespect to those of you that have such strong beliefs, just remember that a foundation of our country is supposed to be tolerance and it seems as if we have forgotten it. PEACE!

i imagine he'd be a fool to run, because no matter if the wonderful election changed into rigged, he misplaced. So what does triumphing the Nobel Peace Prize were given to do with triumphing a presidential election? he's form of an common dude. i can't quite be certain out who the guy is. And what I recommend by using it quite is in the course of the 2000 election he got here off as smarmy, and that i wasn't quite delighted about casting my vote for him. He hasn't been performing smarmy considering then. not something 's going to take position to Hillary if he did run, because I actual have a feeling he'd screw up back. i imagine it truly is large that he's delivered international warming to the interest of the familiar public. and that i imagine he does a significantly better interest staying contained in the heritage, engaged on public coverage topics. He looks a good sufficient guy, yet he's not presidential cloth.

I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000. Having said that, and without regret for having voted for Nader in 2000, I would absolutely vote for Al Gore if he decided to run. I think he has learned a lot, learned from his mistakes, grown as an individual and as a leader. I also think he will be more of a progressive now than he was eight years ago, which I think is quite necessary in these times of radical extremism and religious fundamentalism, both brought on and fueled by the radical fringes presently in charge of all three branches of our government. As we have seen, you don't have to be the party in the majority to create a logjam, stonewall, obstruct, etc. I think Mr. Gore would be a breath of fresh air for our country and, in fact, the world.

Okay, first off if your a liberal I'm sorry, what happened in your childhood that was so bad that it would want to make your support the skank, I mean Hillary? So you think that everyone should be equal and that the rich should be punished by being taxed more because they busted their *** to hard and made a living while you sat on the couch eating potato chips, but they should be taxed more, thats why inner cities are Democratic, poor people don't like rich because thier better than poor. Also Al Gore's An Inconvient Truth book, which I don't bieleve in most things around global warming won the Nobel Peace Prize is because the prize always goes to gays, oops i mean skanks, I mean dumbshits(Liberals) So no I won't vote for Al if he ran, thats why he lost, hes a stupid Man Whore, an America saw him for what he really is, a stupid worthless piece of ****.

There is no man or woman running for president that has anywhear near the brains or intregrity of Al Gore.
A good ticket would be Al Gore and Ron Paul.
I don't understand these people that want to put him down. There is so much evidence that is he smart and a man of his word. How could you all ignore that just because you want a Republican in office. Look what the Republicans have done so are - gotten into a war and gotten us into debt and tried to take away our Social Security.

No. No way in hell. Not if he was the last man on earth, and women weren't allowed. I don't think I'd vote for any of the candidates running, except maybe Mitt Romney, and I'm not 100% sure about him.
The last thing this world needs is another liberal whacko in charge - especially one with his own agenda to make money off the global warming theory.

Yeah I would, but I don't think it's not going to happen. I think he likes being a civilian too much.
It's sad: Global warming deniers sound a lot like those who still think Iraq had WMDs and something to do with 9-11. They won't see the truth until a hurricane comes and b*tchslapped them in the face! And then wonder where's the National Guard...
And even though I think Gore's a hypocrite in his personal life, it doesn't mean what he has to say is suddenly false. Hmm, what's that expression about "casting the first stone"?
