From my experience Men will always want to look at Women. Not all Men like strip clubs but they do look, be it porn or clubs or just out in public. Men are visual creatures.
My husband does not like strip clubs however he does look at porn. I have no problem with it, it's just fantasy and I am reality.
I do not agree with a committed Man going to a strip club as that is too close to real for my comfort.
It's all about communication and trust.

There are any number of reasons that a man or woman (many women enjoy male strippers as well) would choose to do this. Probably the greatest factor is that humans, by nature, are not monogamous - most species of animals are not. Another way of saying this is that human genetics drives us to do various behaviors associated with reproduction. Essentially this boils down to men wanting to spread their genes around but then caught in our social norms that say we only should have one mate. Looking then becomes the second choice. This applies to women in some regards as well, but the social norms are much more repressive for them.
There are other reasons that this occurs, but they are mostly social justifications of the above behavior.

Men find going to the stripclub appealing because it is a way for them to go out and bond with their friends.. Then why not go to the bar or something? Men's sexual appetite is mostly visual.Where as sex for women is mental.
I think if it bothered me THAT much a bf/husband should stop going.I think if a boyfriend found out his gf had gone to a strip club with naked men everywhere he'd go mad with jealousy. Not really very fair...

Basic human instict to procreate, both sexes have repressed insticts of primative man, and the survival of the fittessed.
When a human meet another of the opposit sex that they are attracted to, endorphines are released in the brain that provoc sexual desires. These endorphine subside after 3-6 months somtimes up to a year. This is what causes humans to have that new love sex, where your total focus is on that person, you have wild passionate sex, only stopping to eat, and then its a food that can be eaten from some body part. Then in a few months to a year it subsides, and your like "hey what happened?"
In primative man.
These endorphines are for the fertilization purposes, 3-6 months about the time it takes for the female to become pregnant. Then the female needs the male to provide for her and thier off spring, and the male instint is to provide and protect his off spring. The couple stay together until the off spring is at age of survival, which is in primative man 5-7 years. (moderan 7year itch)
If that male is still appealing (strong and fit) to the female and visa versa, other offsprings may be produced, if several offsprings are produced life coupling was possible.
Then as humans became stationary, social norms created a peaceful exsistance, which improved the tribes chances of survival, and as they evoled relgious practices where adopted, and so the beginning of civalization.
Males began the pratice due to size and strength to place the female in a subsurveant role to ensure that she would not seek out other males. Thus the reason women until of recent have not felt as compelled as males to openly display thier desires for other males.
Sociatial norms both for males and females have adopted the practice of the same mate for life. This is why in the past affairs where in descression, but they did happen for both sexes. But in moderan times females have regained some equality and know how of self survival, and so fewer mating for life is evolving.
We are still mammilian in our genetic make-up. So observation of the opposite sex is still a human instint.
