Yes. But only if you make it an all nighter j/o session. That's why I always keep a jar of eye cream handy, to remove them bags and dark circles.

Only if you're holding your breath. It is true you can "bruise" your face if you hold your breath and push out with your face. It doesn't happen very often and if you're breathing you shouldn't have much of a problem.
