someone had a green light for the left turn lane and made a U turn and hit me when I was trying to turn right? My light was red. I made my stop looked and let off the brake. I was just about to hit the gas when this guy does a wide U-turn from the left turn lane. It doesn't say you can't do a U-turn, but it doesn't say you can either. I was already into my turn when their light turned green. Who would have been to blame if there WAS an accident?

Let me know if you need more details and I'll try to explain better. I really want to know the answer.

But am I @ fault if I was already in my turn before his light turned green, even if my light was red?

A U turn is just another form of Left Turn.

It it does not say you can not make a U turn there - then it is legal to do so.

When making a right on red - you have to yield to other traffic. The guy making the U turn was legally able to do so - you have to yield to him. You are at fault for the accident.

Sorry. i comprehend that may not the respond you have been hoping for.
