almost all the sms messages reached my inbox are labled with 8 hours difference from the actual time. How could that happen and how can I fix it? My phone is HP 6965 running WM5.

The world standard time is called "zulu time" or "Greenwich Mean Time".

If you are in someplace like California then what you call "the actual time" would be 8 hours off. You might be able to set the time in your cell but it might be coming in from the server that is sending it. Most international sites on the net use world standard time at least as a default.
