I used to be attracted to people different to me when I was younger, but I often found it hard to get along with these people.

I'm more into people who are similar to me in personality now, as I can relate to them a lot closely.

But what really matters is that they're kind, positive and well-meaning.

Both, actually The personality just rounds out the whole. I once dated a girl with a snotty personality it made for interesting recourse and it really spiced up the physical aspect of the relationship But it didn't last. And after the fact her personality changed for the better and we're good friends.

both. i've got two best friends and one is very similar to me, while another is an opposite side of me :) it's sometimes weird, but i've got used to this already :D
