Say all of the signs pointed to it, and you wanted to stick with the opposite sex, you liked it that way. What do you think that means? Shame? That you're over thinking things?

I'm bi sexual. This doesn't really reflect on me though.
I mean, you are attaracted to the same sex, but you don't want that to be your life, you want to be a regular straight person?

A lot of people who deny their orientation find themselves in relationships that just don't work out.
Why would you want to be with someone you're not attracted to?
Maybe you should see a counselor who will give you advice on how to talk to your family and the people around you about acceptance.

I don't question my sexuality, because it's cut and dry to me. I think that the same is true if you're gay. If I felt I was gay and didn't want to be, then I wouldn't be gay, I would be straight. Whatever you are, that's what you WANT to be... even if it feels wrong, you must still WANT it for some reason. However, it would be unlike me to go with something that was contrary to how I feel.
Set aside what other people say is rational for a person in your situation, and just do with your life what you see fit.

It happens quite often. People are often ashamed and afraid of how the public may view them so they try to live their lives the way they think they will be the most accepted. Look at how many marriages end because someone is gay and they can't go on forever denying it. It is sad that they feel they have to be something they are not.

I don't think gay people like being gay either, they have to go through a lot and jump thourgh so many hoops etc etc....but really if its who you are than the best thing you can do is accept it. You really cannot change who or what you are, and no shame in being gay. Just be happy, find someoneone to love and all is good.

Im gay however I decided to stay with my family. I have a daughter as well. I was ashamed for many years however it came a point in my life when i had to be true to myself and I made a choice to stay with my daughter and her mom and be part of their lives, the rest is a long story. Its all about CHOICES and whatever makes you happy. Granted, I didnt choose to be gay, I'm making the best of it! Yes, im open to my family. They know about me and they love me no matter what!
