The corrupt Bush Regime can't be trusted.
Don't trust the neocons because all they want is tax cuts for the rich, and endless wars with no victory plan.

This is a great point that you have made here -- one that I have pointed out to people time and again --- you could also add that it was at that exact same time -- that Bush and his cohorts past executive orders to seal government records away from the Freedom of Information Act that covered the entire regime of the Reagan years -- which was when his own father was the VP and almost certain to have had a hand in the Iran / Contra garbage that went on !!
This was also a time when a number of the administrations own staffers were quoted time and again making statements that were VERY hostile about IRAN and even were quoted as saying that it was going to be a "target" of the administration to "bring it around" --- this was ALL way before there was a 9 / 11 !!!
Sept 11th 2001 has been used as a carte blanche for this administration to literally do anything that it has wanted ---- ALL in the name of National Security --- and Most not having to do with much else other than the installation of Major reductions of freedoms of the masses at the leverage of more and more misuse of power at the Federal level !!!
This is only to be MENTIONING the freaking PATRIOT ACT !!
Holy Lord !!!!!!
Once again the words coming from the past
Those that would give up one moment of liberty for security
Deserve neither liberty NOR security !!!

The CIA is reviewing their investigator. They must be desperate to keep this from coming out.
"WASHINGTON - CIA Director Michael V. Hayden has mounted a highly unusual challenge to the agency's chief watchdog, ordering an internal investigation of an inspector general who has issued a series of scathing reports sharply critical of top CIA officials, according to government officials familiar with the matter.""
""This month, the Bush administration threatened to veto a House bill that would strengthen the independence of inspectors general by giving them seven-year terms and permit the White House to fire them only for cause.""
"" Pamela Hess, The Associated Press
WASHINGTON - Key members of Congress vowed Friday to defend the independence of the CIA's inspector general and to put an end to the agency's probe of its own internal investigator.""

I heard that as well. I'm surprised that there hasn't been more of a fuss made about it by Congress. That may be on their next agenda, but then they have given the Bush administration a free pass on so many other things that it will probably be swept under the rug.

Who has revealed this junk? Or are you a willing agent for the proliferation of the BIG LIE?
I am sure that there were some people being watched by the FBI, that's their job, but like all law enforcement agencies, they had to have probable cause.
If all this is "well documented" and can be proven factual, our beloved democratic congress would have had a feeding frenzy. As it is they have to pass a bunch of non-binding resolutions to fill their days.

Can you get real PLEASE???????
If you think George is the first president who has been watching us then you need to dig a little deeper.
There is far more here than you will ever know, and for more reasons than you could possibly justify or begin to understand.
Suffice it to say that there will NEVER be a time when what you do isn't observed, no matter where you do it.

Sounds like you've got it all figured out. Just go with that because nothing anyone here can say will change the mind of a conspiracy theorist. The complete lack of evidence and "dot-connecting" doesn't bother you a bit . . . go with it.

The stupidity of those who don't understand the guidelines behind FISA and the foreign wiretapping laws continues to amaze me. Instead of regurgitating some MoveOn.moron talking points, please do some actual research.
BTW, I love how you have absolutely no factual backup to your rant.
