I just bought a CBR600RR and the shop owner told me it is a 2008 model. The whole bike is PURE black in colour, different from both the 2007-black/silver and 2008-graffiti design posted on the offical website. So how do I know I am not cheated by them?

Hi All,
Where can I find my VIN and the emission data plate? I just can't find them.

Check the VIN number and the emissions data plate on the bike... These numbers will tell you the model year, and what month and year the bike was actually built.

The Vin plate will have the year of the bike in big visible numbers - can't miss them.
