There are really two valid ways to look at that:-
1. Yes, because the nuclear deal will help India immensely; speed up development and help supply electricity to huge areas. It will also generate employment, help our scientists make new nuke plants prototypes in India.....u get the picture :)
2. The flipside is that USA never does anything without an ulterior ,motive and i guess that that is what the Left is worried about, they might be planning sumthing. (sounds silly, but true)
I mostly agree with the former view 'coz i think Left is stuck in a time warp and unfortunately they have stupid closd-door policy. highly suspicious uncles in Left!!

No, certainly she is not not right. the statement itself is a faulty one. Noting that there was a requirement of power in every part of the country, Gandhi said, "We are working at every level to meet the energy needs of the people. That is why the nuclear deal with the US has been proposed.”
On the contentious Sethusamudram issue, Sonia said that religion should not be mixed with politics and development. Criticizing those who were trying to politicize the Ram Setu issue, she blamed them for raking up a controversy in the name of Lord Ram. Regretting the controversy, she said the matter can be resolved with peace and conscience. She said that it was possible to resolve the issue without hurting the sentiment of any community.
The statement on the nuclear deal comes close on the heels of her intrepid comments yesterday at the PM’s Iftar party. Asked whether she was concerned over the government collapsing and the country heading towards another round of elections, Sonia said “Not at all. If there are polls, you face it”. The aggressive tone clearly indicates that the Congress leader is in no mood to compromise.
Earlier, the government is believed to have communicated to the Left that it would hold safeguards negotiations with the IAEA very soon.
Sonia’s comments are the clearest indication from the Congress leadership that the party will not cave in to the demand of the Left not to operationalise the deal and is already preparing for mid-term polls.

Answer to the first part is: yes, I agree completely. Remark was definitely pointed towards 'Lefts'. Now, second part: Ambika Soni whether as congress person or in individual capacity has no right to comment on any faith, she went further in way of an affidavit. Has she or anybody else has courage to mention such thing about a faith of non-Hindu religion.

For once Sonia was sort of right, but in no time, she somersaulted & took back her remarks. What had Haryana to do with the Nuke deal?
Ambika is the 21st Century Shoorpanakha, equally shrill, intemperate & wild. God help those, who take her seriously.
Both these 'friend's deserve to be in a Waste paper Basket, at the earliest.

I am not the expert on the issue. So I will not know who really is right and who is wrong. But after the nobel laureate Mr. Pachauri has vouched for the success of the deal, I will like to believe that what Sonia is telling is right and in the interests of the country.

Let us for a moment agree that she is right. As a matter of fact I personally feel this is a good deal.
Now that the UPA itself is backing out , are they not themselves enmies of the nation! This ploy is just to stick to power and loot this country. It is better UPA dissolves the lokhsabha and call for the election, and congrees may even winn the election with a clear Majority.

you should record her in the different case she will be able to proceed to make problem for you. I had an same difficulty with a top-winger who went banana's over a ultimate courtroom question I requested. all started harassing and e-mailing me, reporting my questions, and so on. you understand the drill. you are able to't reason with some human beings. and that i have found that the most illiberal human beings evaluate themselves the most tolerant. they don't have any self-information of their lack of expertise. you are able to't reason with human beings like that and do not waste some time attempting.
