We made six landings on the Moon between 1969 and 1972; this is historic fact backed up by thousands of pictures, videos, Moon rocks, and witnesses. But the politicians decided not enough Americans were interested in the excellent scientific results which were coming out of the Apollo program, and so cancelled the funding. This was a great pity, as there is so much more to learn about the Moon.

man has been on the moon. dont listen to any of the parodies that say other wise.

there could be a number of reasons why we havnt been on the moon in so long. we dont have the money for something we've already done before. if we do have the money why use it on something we've done before. or why risk human lives to send someone to somewhere man has already been when we can send perfectly capable robots to do the exact same jobs that the astronauts would be doing.
like i said it could be a number of reasons but since the government dosnt exactly like to share stuff like that to its county... we'll never know.

O yes, we've been there, at tremendous costs. Once Apollo closed, it was mentioned that there was so much data and samples collected it would take 50 years of analysis. The 50 years isn't up yet, and there's not much reason to spend another $1000 for every man, woman, and child in the US to go back again.

We've been over and over if you, and others read the answer to any other of these stupid "Did we go to the moon?" questions you wouldn't have to ask it every darn day.

But then again the defining point of people who keep questioning it is they don't listen, and of course wont care how much proof is presented they'll go blundering around in ignorance.

No offence to you mate, just read the other versions of this question for a miticulous history of moon visits.

NASA no longer has the technical expertise, as all the engineers that worked on the Apollo program have retired, and the equipment is long obsolete.
Since we cannot yet build a self-sustaining habitat, the astronauts cannot stay more that a couple of days so it is not worth going.

The U.S.'s Apollo program was cut short due to lack of funding.
There were supposed to be two more missions (Apollo 18 & 19), but Congress pulled the 'plug' on them.
It seems the American people just didn't care anymore that we were up there, on another world, exploring and learning.

I would love to visit the north pole, the sahara desert or even planet pluto someday but once you've been there... i guess fond memories were only short lived.
