I am switching from Ortho Tri Cycline (sp) to Ortho Novum, since the 1st one was a lo dose and really made my periods whack (I am not sexually active but need it for acne and horomones and irregularity!)

So I stopped taking the old pills and still havent gotten my period which was supposed to come 2 weeks ago! Its probably stress but I cant be sure but I know its not pregnancy! So should I just start the new pills anyways?? I feel it coming since I'm totally premenstural and feel like I'm in constant attack mode! I would of asked the pharmacist but they are rude and I'm switching pharmacies next visit!!

So any ladies with reasonable advice, yes LADIES, I really don't need a male weighing in his 2cents where they don't belong.....THANKS.

Yep...start the new pills anyways and just stay on track with them you'll get regular eventually. I've been through that too.

Yes, go on and start the new ones because they might make u feel a lot better and not be so stressed out. If your period doesn't show when you get to the 4th week of the pill pack, then there is something wrong and should see a doctor. All birth control pills should let you start having ur period.

You can start them whenever you want. It just you won't be protected for a week.
