Recently a rash of noose incidents have occurred across the U.S.

These acts are racist & egregious!

Who are these venomous cowards or are they insecure copycats?

Are these people afraid of the American culture diversifying even more?

Are these bigots so vile, they are coming out of the closets in record numbers?

Someone knows who these wicked people are!

Are these people living right next to us, or better yet, are they related to us?

We all know the Jena 6 debacle was the inception of these heinous crimes.

This week alone, a noose was hung on an African-American college professor's door in New York City at the world renowned Teacher's College.

In suburban Chicago, a noose was displayed at the local Home Depot, and racial epithets were written on a countertop.

If Americans want to live in a harmonius environment, how can we (civilians) put the brakes on these sinister acts?

This is not only a low class idiotic thing to do, it makes me angry enough to give an scumbag that I see doing it to respond with another southern-slime tradition. It's called double aught.

It is a form of urinating on the flag and wiping your butt with the Constitution. Anybody who would do it belongs in the ranks of Osama Bin Laden and all the other useless lumps of flesh the earth is cursed with.

And that's exactly how i feel about it.

No I am not..... as long as there aren't any Black bodies hanging in those nooses then I don't care....there are far too many more important issues that are need to be addressed within the black community ........lack of diversity in the public education system, drug usage, absent fathers, single mothers, underpaid teacher, lack of mentors and communtiy ties..., incarceration rates, lack of affordable housing, heathcare across the boards....need I say more....

The first step would be to shut up. Most of us are sick of hearing about it. I certainly don't agree with any form of racisism, but it works both ways. The Jena 6 beat the crap out of the one boy, but no one seems outraged over that. You can pass all the laws you want, but you can not make people like each other. People like the protesters at Jena, are the reasons why this stuff happens.

I am outraged by this. It feels like we are going back in time. As a whole, Americans should stick together and bond as a nation; not turn against one another because of color.

As long as the nooses don't contain bodies I feel it should be allowed. Simply hanging a noose while in bad taste, hurts no one. Now if people can't control their actions and react with violence, that does hurt someone and should not be tolerated. What is the government going to do? Outlaw a knot? Make it illegal to buy rope?
