In our oath, we swear not to be at the making of a Mason of a madman or fool. Judging by your question here, you are either one or the other, but either way, are ineligible for membership in the Freemasons.
Learn how to spell, formulate complete sentences, and be able to make a succinct point, and MAYBE we'll start listening.

you definitely have a wrong idea as to what the Masonic Fraternity is all about. Perhaps this will enlighten you about the Masonic Fraternity. Freemasonry is an oath bound fraternal order of men which derives from the medieval fraternity of Freemasonry. We adhere to many of the Ancient Charges, laws, customs and legends of operative Freemasonry. We are loyal to the civilian government under which we exist. We inculcate moral and social virtues by symbolic application of the operative stonemasons' working tools and by allegories, lectures and charges. Freemasonry obligates its members to obey the principles of brotherly love, equality, mutual aid, secrecy and confidence. We have secret modes of recognition that permit members to recognize each other as brothers. We require a through examination into the mental, moral and physical qualifications of a petitioner and we admit men into the fraternity by secret ceremonies based in part on legends of the Craft.
Once a man has decided to apply for membership he fills out a petition signed by 2 members of the Lodge he desires to join. He gives the petition to one of the members along with the required initiation fee. This petition is read at the Lodge's next stated meeting when the Worshipful Master will appoint an investigating committee who will interview the petitioner in person. The investigating committee will report back to Lodge at the following stated meeting when the petitioner is voted on by all the members present. Upon being accepted the petitioner becomes a candidate and receives the three degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft and the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. There are certain requirements a candidate must meet before he can proceed from one degree to the next.
One must obtain the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason before being allowed to wear any Masonic jewelry.
One must have a Belief in a Supreme Being.
The tenets of the Masonic Fraternity are " Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. "
The Masonic Fraternity is not a Secret Society but rather a Society With Secrets like all other Fraternal Orders such as the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Eagles, Elks, Moose, Druids, Red man, Etc. Etc. Etc.
Suggest if you are a man over legal age and are interested in pursuing becoming a Mason you contact a man whom you know to be a Mason for further information and an application. If there is no local Masonic Lodge available suggest you contact the Grand Lodge for the State in which you reside as the Grand Lodge Officers will be more than happy to assist you.If you are under legal age you can inquire about the DeMolay Organization

No, masons/freemasons do not run the world... and wouldn't want to. the conspiracy theories are just fiction/fantasy and have no basis in fact or history.
Many famous/influential people have been freemasons - George Washington (and most of the important figures in the revolutionary war), Mozart, etc...
Claudiac has it right, if you want to "run the world" find another organization.
You will find the "real" answer here. there are no secrets of freemasonry, there is no group of "mason's you are thinking of"...that is more fantasy.

And so you think you'll find a real answer, here on a public Q&A forum? The mason's you are thinking of don't exactly have Yahoo ID's and surf the internet. The internet would be a tool used to control and monitor society. The founding fathers of our country where Freemasons and that may explain why you see so many triangles. Also, it is known that there are certain shapes (and colors) that appeal greatly to the consumer psyche, triangles may be one of them. Just like circles.

Freemasons do not "run the world". The Freemasons is a fraternal organization of like-minded, spiritually guided men of wholesome and steadfast character. If you want to join to "run the world", then you are not Mason material.

"but some pretty powerful and influential men throughout history have been free masons."
Yes, and a lot of powerful and influential men have NOT been Freemasons.
Freemasons do not run the world. If we did, it wouldn't be in such a mess (lol)

I don't know if they rule the world exactly, but some pretty powerful and influential men throughout history have been free masons.

Your first statement alone would exclude you from becoming a Freemason. That is not the reason to become one.

No we don't run the world.
I would be more worried about trying to spell the word world rather then worrying about Freemasonry. If I were you.

I have worked in engineering, so I know some Freemasons. I design it, and they build it, so I run them, and I do not run the world. None of them run the world. That is another silly conspiracy theory.
