Christopher Wren designed the present St. Paul's, or so people will tell you. He did supervise the building of it but his assistant, Nicholas Hawksmoor, is thought to be responsible for the design and building of the dome.

Steven Dykes Bower was tasked with rebuilding it following the blitz in World War 2.
