That would be the SS Great Britain built by Brunel and lunched in the 19th Century and still in the dry dock where is was first built in Bristol

The first all metal ocean going ship was indeed the SS Great Britain, built by I.K. Brunel and now in Bristol. I don't think it was a liner and, having seen it, I'm a bit doubtful that it had a capacity of 4000 passengers. I could be wrong but....

Isambard Kingdon Brunell built the SS Great Britain... it WAS the first... google it and do at least some of your own homework

I think it was the "Great Eastern" launched in 1858 and designed by Brunel. It could carry 4000 passengers.
