Women do like to get roses, but some who get them wonder what has he done. I also liked a single red rose better that a full dozen. I could set it on the counter next to my kitchen sink and see it all day.

From time to time I send my wife flowers at work...roses, a dozen. She works in the billing office in a local hospital with several other women. Needless to say, some husbands get the cold shoulder that night. I send them on a Wednesday so she'll keep them on her desk until she comes home Friday.

When I was 16 and had my first job I bought my mother a single red rose for Mother's Day. $1, four hours work @ $.25 an hour. She talked about it the rest of her life. She got another one to carry to her grave. I think a single flower makes a stronger statement than a bouquet when there is true love behind it. It says, "you are the special one."

i appreciate something that gives you me a sturdy snort, and cartoons and jokes about seniors do supply me a snort. very oftentimes I relate to them. it truly is so confusing to shaggy dog tale about any team at present. The "Politically fantastic" police run in and censor you. perchance seniors are the wonderful team about that you'll make jokes. even with each and every thing, we've been there and heard all of it - so a sturdy shaggy dog tale would not dissatisfied us. We used to have some sturdy humor on the following. Sigh - wasn't it relaxing?

flowers wither and die. personally prefer to give the Ladies a gift that would last longer such as jewelry, perfume, a gift card, etc.
I once gave a painting of Roses to a " Special Lady " and told her " these Roses like my love for her would never wither and die. " must say this worked well.

I can only tell you what happened to me .
My love gave me 11 red roses in a beautiful vase - meaning the 12th rose was me.
My heart was overflowing.

I like one,because it's beautiful all by itself!
Roses are expensive,and die so soon!I'd rather receive a nice dinner.The memory last longer!
