Silver for me,,,,but they are quite bendy at the point of birth and it takes a hour or two for the spoons to become stiff

yes i know...uncomfortable indeed. Why a spoon though. mabe more comfortable than a knife. Makes you wonder what the mother had been doing with the cutlery to have it end up there. ha ha
