I have a motherboard of Intel. I want to upgrade my RAM 128MB to 512MB. Does it support my computer.
My Cpu speciefication are as follows.
128 MB ram
800MHZ SPU speed
Cache RAM 256kb

Most of the motherboards supporting P-lll Coppermine and Katmai have memory slots supporting only 256mb per slot. However, there are motherboards for the Tualatin core that support up to 512mb per slot like this one:

Yes it supports your computer. Try to look at the maximum speed that your memory can run. Speeds vary from 66, 100, or 133 MHz so try to look at which speed is compatible to your motherboard. As always, higher is better but not always the best ;-)

heck ya i got 2 sticks of 256 and a 128 running in a rig right now. if it works i pack it in especially on the old stuff. also kingston and corsair have sites that will tell ya what mem to look for although it's their brands lol.

Yes all PIII are sdram, and can handle any piece of sdram.
It does not use DDR like one person said, they didnt have that until the 2ghz p4 came out.

Check MoBo ram frequency against the ram upgrade that you'll be buying.
