what are earthquake useful results?

Question

earth quake is dangerous.but i know if it has any benefit/good effect.in society or nature.
i mean the good results after earth quake happens.

Often, in a time of tragedy, is when the greatest depth of kindness & compassion are shown by humans...but this may be offset by the opportunistic looters, etc.

As you know, earthquakes are a result of the shifting of tectonic plates. This is one area of mountain building, so, after tens of thousands of years you may have the formation of a mountain range (with all the peaks, valleys, lakes, rivers, etc.) With various resulting physiographic regions comes various habitats for various flora & fauna. These aren't immediate benefits of an earthquake, but are long term benefits, in my estimation.

Also, another by-product of some earth quakes are tsunamis. I'll hazard a guess that like other natural "disasters" such as huge forest fires, hurricanes, floods, etc. there is a purging of the region's flora & fauna. Now as to wether this is good or bad is up to the perspective of the individual, the species or the observer.

If the earthquakes are lessor than 6 in Richter scale you get 3 types of benefits.
1. Since the part of accumulated pressure is released from the boundary of tectonic plates the strength of future earthquakes will be lessor in its magnitude than what it should be.
2. It is the sign of alerting you that you should be careful and be prepared for the next earthquake.
3. By knowing the frequency range of the earthquakes you can try to change the natural frequency of the buildings by adding or reducing its height and weight. The frequency of the earthquake should not match with the natural frequency of the building.If by chance it matches the destruction will be heavy.

Seismic waves travel at different speeds through different kinds of rock, and through solid or molten rock. These different speeds cause refraction of the transmitted waves.

This information is almost the entire basis for our understanding of size and composition of the Earth's layers below the crust.
