i actually figured they were mistaken as well, yet in a different way, clearly they were jealous of the answer i had given,
the fact that i may have been wrong, insulting, rude, offensive or on a rant of some kind could not have been possible.....

When I receive a thumbs down I assume that someone is openly inviting me to track them down and hunt them for sport like the dogs that they are. It's all part of living in a democracy

Nah! I am not in the habit of fooling myself! I can take the bricks with bouquets! I don't go back to my answers to check! Only when I get a best answer do I sometimes see a thumbs down, by that time it doesn't matter anyway!!!

No , Its never by mistake, a thumbs down means that your answer was a waste of their time even reading it, and a waste of your time answering a question that you obviously had no business answering.
