This is because I saw Benitez earlier as a hero but his tactics are proving me wrong, and I confess my dissatisfaction with him!

Lets be real here. All the money that Liverpool ploughed into investing for the season by purchasing top talent has to pay dividends. The key is, for Rafa, to find the right combination of players who can consistently come out on the field and deliver. Since he's got a lot of fresh faces, young and older, he wants to find the right blance of chemistry that will produce results for Liverpool in all competitions.

Not only that, the issue of adjustments, Rafa also has to keep his players happy. Top players quickly get frustrated and lose motivation if spending too much time warming the bench. In keeping his players happy, he also has to make the financiers, the fans, as well as the club executives happy by utilizing all his weapons.

Rafa doesn't have an easy job. It's easy to say that he should be able to build a winning team with the materials given, but a true football follower would know that without chemistry, you can't buy a championship.

the Liverpool - Everton derby is the only sport in England the place the followers are actually not segrigated. there is not any hatred between Liverpool and Everton followers because of the fact they have enjoying one yet another in the acceptable branch some distance longer than the different derby fits. i might say it grow to be plenty extra possibly that the Everton fan you already know does not hate Liverpool FC, he hates you, the two that or he's in no way been to a Liverpool - Everton sport the two. there's a huge Liverpool - guy U. contention as Liverpool with the acceptable group in the 70s and 80s, then guy U grew to grow to be the acceptable group in the 90s and 00s. this may well be a super sport because of the fact they have been the acceptable 2 communities in English soccer. different derby video games are huge in spite of if one group is doing properly and the different is doing badly, like the Manchester derby.

Liverpool's rotational system isnt nessecarily failing them, rather the spirit seems to have left the side a little which is dissapointing as they were great to watch at the start of the season but it seems like the premiership has rewinded to the same state of affairs it was ten or so years ago.
Though i think you have a point Benitez could do something..

I'm not a big fan of rotation either, but we won the champions league and the FA cup in his first two seasons, and we got to the champions league final last year so he must be doing something right.

I'm a firm believer in playing your best available 11 every game, and until Rafa does this I think we will struggle in the league. But if we do well in cup competitions it aint all that bad.

IMHO we'll never get back to where we were in the 70's and 80's, but Rafa has us heading in the right direction and that will do for me.

I'm sure I heard some EPL managers chuckling, sniggering even grinning when Benitez announced his "musical chair" policy of player rotation. It's like saying, "damn the title as long as players get a chance to play" - good luck Liverpool, you sure need a massive dose of it from now on :) c'mon Arsenal...
