Political apathy is the greatest concern in our country today?

To what extent is political apathy a concern in your country?
Are there other causes for concern?

Absolutely this is a concern... ppl have become so complacent to events, etc... that no one cares what happens to their fellow citizens or other humans in the world for that matter.

Another concern that bothers me is the enormous loss of the meaning of morality.

IE)
1. It is immoral to declare war, invade, occupy and kill citizens of another nation that has done our nation no harm.

2. It is immoral to make a profit off of other ppl's illnesses.

Yes ! in our country, educated , intelectuals, scientists do not show interest to vote. polling in rural area is 200% more than urban area. indian political parties are worest lot of the world
( in all developing countries too ) Indians does not know how to elect a Government. All that they know is how to reject a govt. it is called negative voting.people like intellectuals good persons and so called educated,thinks politics are bad and keep off from it. Due this political vacume arised, this space was filled/occupied by criminals.Thus criminalization of politics took place.politicians rule the country. This ruling position was handed over to criminals by our timid, selfish, educated, intellectuals. We should participate in governance. What we are after each election is spectators of governance.intellectuals, patriotic people should get into political parties and take over gradually. I believe that behind the partisanship is a compromise system. If you want money for CHIPS (Children's Health Ins Program) you have to give $70 billion to Bush for my own private war with no string attached. The president has the loyal following of enough republicans and those republicans have found a way to stay in seat despite the constituents attempts to unseat them. An organization like Move on has given the voters help in finding ways to remove these embedded politicians. It is over a million strong and growing.] In Hillary's pursuit of office she has accomplished a lot by finally speaking out on her hurtles trying to accomplish protections and safe guards for the middle class. She needs a loyal following to accomplish these seemingly impossible feats.

i couldnt disagree with you more. i think the greatest concern should be out of control liberal extremists. the idea that somehow we need rampant socialism to survive as were not capable of taking care of ourselves is totally ridiculous. apathy is not the word i would use here. there are many who feel a sense of helplessness because they would like to rely on the ability and desire to work but the liberals make that difficult if not impossbile with burdensome regulation and confiscatory taxes.
