Why not choose from the names of Saints who are celebrated in February? Some ideas might be:
Blaise, Jerome, Cyril, Damian, Romanus, Cassian
(you do not need to be a Catholic to choose such names)
I think Rhys is a beautiful name and that Rs are a sign of strength and manhood.
Did you know of Rhys ap Gruffydd of Deheubarth, Lord Rhys, of 12th century Wales.
The correct pronunciation is tricky, though, as you have to breathe out the H before you pronounce the R, and also roll a hard R. And Gruffydd is pronounced something like Grivadh (with 'dh' like the 'th' in 'there').

I have always liked the name Alexi after Nicholas Romanov's only son. He was the last Roman Czar. Really though Rhys is very nice.

Might anyone get it confused with "rice"? Maybe add an ending to it... Rhyson? as in rice+on, not Reeson.
Nothing wrong w/too many "R"s in the initials, though.
Sounds like you could do a search for that 'sound' and spelling to see what could be found? What would be the first or middle name? Sounds interesting!
