I guess I'm brutally honest...
Because that is how I'd want people to treat me...
I can't waste my life living in slow motion...
And the honest opinions of others help me jump start myself...
I don't see criticism as negative...
I see it as opportunity...
A way to enhance myself to become more efficient...
My goal in life is to be happy...
If someone perceives a 'flaw' that might be inhibiting me from reaching my fullest potential, by all means, bring this to my attention...
For example, yesterday, my dad had a real bad attitude...
It was causing other people to repel him...
He blamed them...
I told him clearly that it was him...
But I also explained to him that it is not always him...
Nor only him...
But it was him at this moment...
I then made him a protein shake...
And spiked it with rum...
I believe that put a smile on his face...

I'm a pretty brutally honest kind of girl who is trying harder to be tight-lipped and thoughtful.

Have a choice when asking a question. If they want an opinion about a style or piece of furniture, I'll state,"If you like the choice, that's what counts." If accepting a gift, no matter the kind of gift, I'm gracious and accepting. Among friends, political and religious views are debatable,(we accept one another's opinions without argument, but that doesn't mean we agree) but otherwise really try for tact as much as possible.

I guess I am honest without the brutality, there are ways of saying things directly without being brutal,or sugar coating. It's all in what and how you say it.

Tight-lipped normally but when I open my mouth it gets sour.I'm very unlucky.Never say a nasty word to anyone even when they are nasty to me,but when I try to defend and stand up for myself it back-fires.

I am tight lipped unless it is someone I know well and know they can take honesty.
