I have been pondering this for a while 'the war on terror' to me is trying to terroise the terroist and I heard Christopher Etteridge talking about a play 'Talking To Terroist' taken from excerts of interviews from terroist. The title was based on what Mo Molam said that about Talking To Terriost.

If I ever found myself wanting to speak to someone who insists they're always right, has no tolerance for the views of others, and hates the way America operates, I'd find a liberal.

Don't terrorise their countries in the first place, and you'll find that the "terrorists" stop terrorising our countries!

Response to FederalistCaper:

Where to begin?

Continued support for Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine:

Support for the most corrupt and oppresive Middle Eastern regimes, without which these countries could not terrorise their own people (Of course, this included arming, training and supporting the Taleban AND Al-Queda in the past).

I could go on and provide you with a comprehensive list of how Western (and particularly American) Foreign policy kills more civilians each year than "Terrorists" have killed in the last hundred years, but you probably don't appreciate having your blinkers removed by something as inconvenient as truth...

Terrorists are a law unto themselves and have no reason other than their own ideologies, so the whole concept of trying to talk to them doesn't come into play. I wouldn't terrorise them, but given the chance those who are trying to bring anarchy and chaos to the UK through terrorism i would not think twice about shooting them dead.

They are generally brain washed - which lends itself to the belief that they can "re-educated".

However it is a long process that will generally begin in prison or the after-life for them.

Personally I would'nt risk talking to them I have a family to consider I would rather just shoot them in the head.

You can't terrorize them. That makes martyrs of them and furthers their cause. You can't talk to them because they are too firm in their beliefs. The only way to deal with them is to simply eliminate them as quickly and as quietly possible.

terrorists are never going to stop. why listen or talk to them, it is a waste of time and energy. they are going to do whatever they want to get rid of those who do not believe in the same things that they do and they think that violence is the only way to solve things.
