Its not possible. A blind man is unaware of all colours(in case he was born blind) - A blind man only knows about black colour..i think...

We cannot describe the color red or any other colors to a man who has been blind from birth. We can be as explicit as possible in describing the properties of redness and still fail to make him understand the color red.

I am not sure that can be done. Such concepts as "red" are called "ostensibles." To simplify the explanation, something that is ostensible must be literally pointed to in order to describe it. To a sighted man who never saw blue, you would have to point to something blue and say, "That is blue." A blind man has never seen colors, so the description "the color of the ocean or the sky" means nothing to him in terms of his understanding. You can't tell him blue is the color of his eyes, which he has never seen. And the scientific description of light waves does not even tell a sighted man what red and blue are.

Well, this is gonna be really touchy-feely, but let's give it a shot.

To SEE
Mr. Blind Man, you can smell fragrances with your nose, feel pressure on your skin, taste food with your tongue and hear music with your ears. Your Four Senses are the windows to your world. I, and others like me, have a Fifth Sense - to see with our eyes.

LIGHT
Light is the fragrances, the pressures, the foods and the sounds which my eyes can perceive. Light can be dim, like smooth jazz, bright like hot food and too bright like crushing pressure.

COLOR
Light also enters my eyes in endless variations of mood. Blue is drifting on a calm ocean. Green is lazy afternoons and new mown hay. Yellow is children's laughter on a sunny beach. Orange is the taste, well, of an Orange, a little tart, a little mellow, always refreshing. And Red... ahh, Red...

RED
Red is the flush you feel during that first dance on a first date.
Red is the smell of an American Beauty rose.
Red is the heat of a spanking when you were a kid.
Red is the pride while singing the National Anthem at a ballgame.
Red sizzles, and snaps!, and pops!, like logs on a fire.
Red tastes Spicy!

YOU
Look Good in that red tie!

SHE
Looks Hot in that red dress!

See? Light. Color. Red. Life.

probably link the word red with a human sensation. it seems virtually impossible to describe the color red to a blind man. at least i can't think of practical ways.

Red is any of a number of similar colors evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light discernible by the human eye, in the wavelength range of roughly 625–750 nm. Longer wavelengths than this are called infrared, or below red and cannot be seen by human eyes.

I would describe the color red as HOT. when he feels heat that is the color red.
To add a little more, I would describe clouds as cotton balls.... and so on.

well, i'm not sure he'll understand 100%, but i'd try putting his hands on hot stone, warmed by the sun.. or to tell him to think of something that make him, to make him smell the scent of carbonized wood, make him taste a ripe strawberry.. they feel like red..
