I had the cramps and tiredness when I came off Depo after several years. I ended up going back on it for a while and when i came back off the problems werent as bad. I'm sure it's all caused by major hormone upheaval! Stick with it and try some multi vitamins to help your system recover from the shock. Hope that helps

Hi
I came off the depo in May this year, and my periods havent even started yet. In August, I started to get really bad cramping like period pains, but nothing actually came of it. Shame - I have never wanted to start a period so much in all my life!
I went to the doctors last week and all she said was that it can take up for a year for periods to return. She also did say that just because my periods havent started, it doesnt mean i cant be fertile. So there are still chances there.
Seems like we just have to be patient on this one!

I never had side effects after coming off the depo. I was told however that after such a long time on the depo (I was on it for 4 years) it could take a couple of years for my periods to return. Go to your local FPC and ask them, they are much more clued up about side effects etc of the depo than your GP.

It may be side affects.
I went immediately to Pills after four years of depo and did not have those symptoms.
See another doctor for a second opinion and ask THEM if its because of coming off of depo.

Why have not you idea about a healthcare specialist? 3 months overdue can be a lengthy time period. this may require medical interest, till you're already attentive to what's causing this. Take care.

. Welcome back to menstration...lol
how bad are your cramps, they could be making you sick. If they are bad and you have a dr make him give you something for pain. pain can make you sick by itself.
And if you continue you may need to get checked for endometriosis...
I used to have cramps real bad in high school that made me naseaus sometimes sick too. It was the pain.
My dr told me i had endometriosis, put me on what is now over the counter alievel, it worked well.
It got better after I had kids.
If it keeps hurting go to the dr...If you bleed real heavy soaking tampons more than one an hour, you could also have uterine fibroids (noncanceous tumors) in your uterus, they can cause a lot of pain too, and about 50% of all women have them.
