As an Englishman who owns many major US Based companies i feel i am in a position to ask this
The Americans that i own are lovely people and very hard working, when pushed, but i cant help thinking they are a little childish.I recently caught some of the Americans i control, playing eye-spy in their huts after lights out.

I am not an American but I have little patience for pompous Englishmen (like you) who make these generalised global stereotypical statements about an entire nation or race of people. Not ALL Americans are childish, some are, some aren't. SAME AS ENGLISH PEOPLE. Some are pompous some aren't. Would you like the entire nation to be judged on the football hooligan, lager lout image the UK has abroad? Think before you speak. Show some intelligence. And if you are so "up there" owning people etc how come you can't seem to capitalise the letter I?

I'm afraid the question presupposes that Americans are childish and leads onto the conclusion that all Americans are childish.
Like other nations, America has some childish people, but to extrapolate this to all American people is bordering on racism (it would be considered racism if you had asked the question "Why are Africans so childish?")
A colleague of mine visited the USA a few years ago. Before this, he used to say that all Americans were nationalistic bigots. When he got there, he found that different Americans have different opinions and many oppose the government.
I think the problem here lies with the American government, which has problems with opposing views. "If you're not with us, you're with the terrorists" is a stupid, generalist statement, but don't believe that all Americans are so narrow minded or that all Americans are childish.

Think your head needs to be taken down a peg or two. You must be a real joy to be around .... NO THANK YOU! Rather play games and be happy.
You say the Americans I own. Was that a typo or are you for real? No one owns anyone and that includes you. What are you running, a sweat shop, because that's what it sounds like.
When you say you push them are you saying you "PUSH" them?
Control .... no one controls anyone in case your mommy never taught you that.
Huts .... sounds real glamorous. Do these "huts" have dirt floors with no running water. As a matter of fact, do they get more than "bread and water" for the day? OOPS! forgot about the water.
Lights Out ..... now that sounds like a prison!! What do you do .... stand watch all night? Are there "guard dogs" too with choke chains?
Just because you don't know how to have fun that doesn't mean no ones else does.
Did you whip the hell (fun) out of them? By chase was there no bread and water for a week too?
US Based companies ..... get down on your knees when you say US!!!
Someone needs to teach you what life is all about. So sorry, you don't have a life!!

As an Englishman who owns so many US companies I wonder why an obviously superior individual with vast resources and immeasureable intellect is spending time writing questions in Yahoo Answers? Not exactly your Cambridge Thesis... aye mate? Whose childish now? Also when writing we childish Americans try to use correct punctuation.....like capitalizing "I" in a sentence....maybe you still have the hangover from your last "holiday".

They like to have fun, what's the matter with that? At least they don't have a stiff upper lip and are boring like the British. I'm British, but feel I don't belong, and share more of the American traits. And to be honest I'd rather be American than British!

See now thats kinda funny I am a born American and my Dad is a native of South Hampton and I have been to England more then enough and if you consider royal inbreeding, horrible humor, terrible food, and the list goes on then by all matters of the word I prefer to be childish you you pile of steamed rat bollocks... wait did I mention once a month showering?
