Do they?
I dislike Mac computers, I wouldn’t stretch to hate, and yes, I am fully versed in the in’s and outs of their use down the the short cuts which I remember more than I do Window’s short cuts.
Yes, once they use to be far more reliable than Windows, but I’m sorry, that time has long since past and they, for leisure fun, or graphic work can no longer compete with a PC and it is only ‘die-hard’ Mac fans that were keeping Apple a float.
As for iPods, they are quite simply over inflated pieces of crap that run on the brand image Apple have created, and have created quite well. There are so many better options out there, but we all want to be seen as cool, right?

Its about Logic, its about freedom , its about being a programmer.
Apple's MAC have limited software support and capabilities. The only thing its good at is keeping the PC running smooth and there are specified softwares which works great on video and music editing. Mac is forced by MAC fans and the company itself. The fans take it like a social movement. MAC is also a PC ( PC means Personal Computer ) you can run linux.
MAC is only a O.S. like windows or linux or Unix.
All offer the software market MACs have the least amount of software and You are so limited, like confined in to a Box.

I think its just because Macs are so different from p.c.s and some people find it hard to adjust instantly. I was the same till I got a Mac for music, now I would never go back. I see ipods as just another brand of MP3 player and nothing to do with being from the same company.

yeah, do you think of the total international might have ipods in the event that they had to have a mac. do you recognize the way costly macs are? in the event that they made truthfully everyone purchase a mac they does no longer have the money for for the ipods and all of the upload-ons.

I love Mac computers and have an iMac and a MacBook! I also have an iPod and, oddly enough, I like applePies...
I must admit that over the last 18-months, I have turned 9 of my friends and family to the light side and they have left Windows based computers behind.
The new Intel processors are awesome in the Macs...

people dont like the mac if they are intelligent enough to use a computer for more than pretty photo albums etc as the pc has so much more freedom and alot wider range of software people that dont like macs buy ipods coz its popular to have and ipod i myself would never buy either because ipods sound quality etc is much surpassed by other mp3/mp4 players

Don't know about hate but its natural to be brand proud of something you own that cost a fair bit of money (i.e if you own a ford you are likely to slate vauxhall). iPods are the industry standard mp3 players whereas Windows are the industry standard operating systems, Come Gates bring out a MP3 player!!

A Mac is scary to somebody brought up on Windows. An iPod is just an iPod.

most people hate mac because mac is harder to control than windows, an ipod doesnt really count as a computer. so i guess people dont really like mac computers, but do like the ipod.

Cannot ken it. Applemacs use a lot of vector based software and are really fast in everything. Guess it is what you are used to I spose. The color palette is remarkable - I got 128 million shades! But word processors are a shame. We use modified Sun workstations, but can run vector based software...though seldom for what others use computers for.
