I don't trust sites asking for my SS#. How can you tell if it's a scam or not?

IF the web site is secure it will start with something like this
https:// (notice "s") if there is an "s" after http, it is secure website

If it is http:// (its scam)
if it is https:// ( NOT scam)

I would ask if they can use some other info like your driver's license #-if not, don't trust it.
