I am not afraid of death itself ... If I were to know at this very minute that when I go to bed tonight ... I would pass away in my sleep... I certainly wouldn't be frightened...

I might be pretty annoyed that I didn't get to have those lamb cutlets I bought for dinner tomorrow.. and annoyed that I didn't get to do some things but .. as for fear no.

If however I knew at this very minute that tonight I would die after an intruder broke into my home and beat me to death ... or tortured me to death .. WELL hell yeah I'd be afraid ..

But it is NOT death itself BUT the method of HOW my death will result........

Hope that makes some sense

Fearing death will always make an impact on my life because it makes me think what did i do to help in this world?
how can i make the world a better place?
etc..

From my point of view I think fearing death is nothing except improving your life to the better.

Am I afraid of death? Nope, not that much. I thought of death as a way of life. As most lawyers say, there are two things in these life we cannot avoid, taxes and death. And there are also two subjects people mostly avoid to discuss- Death and sex.

People dreaded the thought of death if it pertains to their love ones. Why? Because we donot like our love ones leaving us and never seeing them again through out our lives. For my own part, if only I could exchange my life to a cancer victim I would. She/he lives I die and took his place, but life isn't that simple to wish for. We have to live this life that was given to us, it is like borrowing something and in the end returning it back to the one who gave it, our Lord and Savior Christ.

I am just tired of living, but I just can't snap this life that was given to me just like that. If everybody would do that, then you wouldn't know the mystery of life isn't it? I will continue this 'til the end of time. Once in my life I did tried to commit suicide then when I was still young. Due to stupidity I made a mistake somewhere and live. Hospitalized and recovered from it. From then on I realize that every living soul has a purpose in this life, but the problem is finding it wouldn't be that easy. It is like looking for a treasure from a treasure map, the map is us. I found God, which made my life a little better than before. Just surrender everything to HIM, and let peace be upon us all. One thing that is elusive in all of us, peace. Peace of mind, peace of soul, peaceful easy feeling. Are you kidding me? In this life we live now a days, there is no such thing as peace.

That is why a teacher of mine then in my elementary days told us, why is it we cried when someone died? She told us, it is the dead who should be crying for us living not us crying for the dead. For the dead is already at peace while we who still living here on earth continue to struggle through pain, misery and other things. I think she is right, what about you?

It doesn't, i'm not afraid.
Just remember that when death does come you'll hopefully be going to a better place.
But since there is a BIG problem in the world now it seems as though hell is a better place...

I fear the end of all existence meaning the universe, planets, stars, etc. and everything else scares me more than death for some reason.

Not really. I think that death is something that will come eventually and if you spend your whole life fearing it then you basicly have just wasted your life. But thats just how i feel really.

As many times as I've cheated death and gotten away with it. No don't worry about it at all.
When it's my time it's my time and not until then. When God gets ready for me he'll take me and not until then so why worry about it.
