The fuse for my power windows blows out every two days or so. I'm replacing it with the correct amount of amps, it says right on the chart under the cover of the fuse box. This is the only fuse that I've had trouble with, a couple other fuses blow out a while back, but they were replaced and they are still fine, just this stupid power window fuse. GRRRR! What else could be causing the fuse to keep blowing?

you have a short in the wires either the motor is shorted or the harness to the motor you got to remember the door gets water in it from outside when it rains ,car washing etc.now if the vents at the bottom of the door is clogged up the water builds up inside the door enough water it get to the motor and water and elect. dont mix if you get my drift. find out where the short is fix it and you will not have to replace the fuse any more they are there to prevent fire to the wires fix the short ok all done

Sound like you may have a "short", in the wiring to the motor, or a bad earth, Loose feed going to ground, etc, etc, could be a faulty relay cause a power surge to the fuse. On a more serious note, the motor itself could be breaking down internally and "shorting out" in turn, blowing this fuse. i can only suggest you check the above mentioned here and hope your successfull. good luck.

If you have added some electrical connections to your car and you have tapped into that circuit, that could be the problem. Also, the motor in the window could just be going out.

well for some reason that circuit is pulling too much amperage. now, we can not tell you that there is a short. there a few different reasons that amperage can be high. you could also have a binding ( sticking window), poor contacts in the switch... you have to do some testing to find the issue.

Window motor going, which window seems slower then normal and slower then the others? Linkage loose and jamming in one or all windows.
