Stoner has noted that Rossi is snubbing him. In the past Rossi has acted cool towards guys like Melandri, when he proved to be a threat to him, even though they are friends.
It seems when Rossi can't win on the track he tries to psych them, when off the track, as with Biaggi and Gibernau.
As Stoner has his measure on the race track, is he trying to beat him this way?
Is this his gamemanship?

I think that rossi has underestimated stoners abilities on the track. So yeah I think he will do anything to get back on top again.

Hey Fyzer

I see Rossi as a real wind up merchant and a joker - so why not play some mind games? Racing isn't just about technology and technique, and if someone is susceptible to being psyched out - then you should go for it!

Stoner may think Rossi is snubbing him - or someone may just be [mis] reporting that he is. Either way, if anyone takes their off track troubles on to the track they aren't doing their job properly and focusing on the race.

You say that Stoner has got the measure of Rossi on the track, while I feel he has got the better machine this year - if they ran this season again with them on each others bikes do you really believe Casey would even be top 5 on the Yamaha? I don't!

Give it a few seasons before you say the new kid's got the top fella on the run!!

This is all part of the package of being a great motorcycle racer. To sat that Vale can not beat anyone in any way on a track is just nonsense. I think Casey is absolutely brilliant and as the owner of a number of Ducatis I love the bike too but to do anything other than say that Rossi is still THE class rider (note I do not say part of the best package) out there, is nothing less than naieve in the extreme.

I think now Casey Stoner has turned the corner of idolisation and has a title to defend - any thoughts of Rossi and snubbing are are going to be a poor second!

Of course no, Rossi is a great friend with Stoner so why would he try to do something like that? Vale has always played fair!

They might be " mates " but they are still against each other every other weekend.

I think beating the other man off the track is half the battle.
