Rain pounds upon the pavement
As I write tonight
My world is filled with beauty
Everything’s alright
My dear children
Are fast asleep
The house is as quiet
As quiet can be
I really love
the way rain sounds
Simple and romantic
The way it all falls down
Life is a quilt
Made up of many things
Unplanned little blessings
That every new day brings

i really like it except you were talking about rain and then suddenly changed to a quilt, but still its good!!!!
