I'm not sure about that. Just look at this quote by Hillary:
“You know, I’m going to start thanking the woman who cleans the restroom in the building I work in. I’m going to start thinking of her as a human being.” (From the book “The Case Against Hillary Clinton” by Peggy Noonan, p. 55)
That was certainly charitable, wasn't it?

not remotely a real stats. the biggest charity interior the U. S. is secular and based by potential of atheists. that's the bill and Melinda Gates beginning place. meanwhile I, a liberal Dem and atheist helped discovered a small community charity. I provide returned each thing i will and constantly have. I provide my time, my abode, my funds and my voice to quite a few worth reasons. perhaps a rich Republican can supply extra $ than I do, as a results of fact they have extra to offer. yet share sensible, I wager my significant different and young babies supplies extra advantageous than maximum. Now, what approximately you? You talk for alot of alternative human beings and decide their efforts, yet what do you do?

That's always been the case. Conservatives don't see a need to brag about it, however. They believe in making a personal contribution, not in forcing others to make a personal contribution. That's the unconvenient truth.

Yes. It has been proven that while libs may have a higher average pay and give more because of increased wealth. Conservatives give a higher percentage of their income to charity.
You are also correct that libs look to the government for support and cons believe the individual is responsible for his own actions.

Yes. Conservatives take money out of their pockets and give it to the needy. Liberals take the money out of conservatives pockets and give it to the needy after they take some of it for themselves.

I hate to be the one to rain on your delusion parade but conservative do not give to charity out of the good in their hearts. They do it for the tax write offs and they do not very often donate to charities that help the downtrodden. They donate to charities that might benefit themselves someday, like cancer research.
How nice it must be to live in a conservative fantasy world where delusion reigns supreme.

Its true! I had links to the statistics at one point but no longer. On top of it the US is number one in giving out of the entire world. That is not only is our government more giving but our people are more giving that our own government!
Capitalism, the freedom to keep your own money and to give away your own money makes you a better person. Having the government do it for you, what does that do for a person?

Maybe Bible-thumpers drop a dollar in a basket every sunday, but that doesn't amount to the money liberals routinely donate to organizations devoted to CHANGE, not to mention time and energy. But I guess if it's not bringin somebody to GEEZUS, it's not charity work, huh?
Liberals just believe that Americans deserve health care, education, opportunities, and that we should pay for things like oh, I don't know, multi-billion dollar wars.
Our hospitals? Taxes. Mail service? Taxes. Firefighters, police officers, teachers? Taxes. Our military you cons are so happy to kill for no reason? Taxes. If you think paying for things is "oppressive", maybe you should crawl under a rock and live there.

Maybe, I always help the homeless near where I work.
But I am neither liberal nor conservative, its counterproductive to limit yourself to a one track way of thinking.
