no we are not living in a society of stupidity.
we are living in a society of ignorance, greed, and vanity.
people ignore the problems that could cause them and others possible harm (ex: bush with global warming). Greed because honestly what drives most of us. i mean sure sometimes we give to charity but why do you go to school, or to work? Vanity- wow so much of it especially here in America where society is dictated by faces on the cover of magazines, where deadly problems such as anorexia and bulimia are developed by society's stereo-type of the perfect skinny girl.

Not necessarily, but we have allowed stupid people into positions of power because we didn't want to deal with it...so who exactly are the stupid ones again?
